 Mom's Homemade Gnocchi

Inexpensive and filling dinner

2 pounds potato, cooked & mashed
2  flour
1 egg well beaten
add pepper and salt to taste
Directions:
1 Put cold mashed potatoes, flour, egg, pepper and salt in large mixing bowl to create dough.
2 Knead  until firm
3 make 4 cylinder shaped strips from dough
4 Divide the  4 cylinder shaped strips  into small 1 inch pieces.
5 roll on floured surface to form dough balls
6 Place gnocchi salted boiling water then simmer 3- 4 minutes, or until they float
Serve with home made or store bought spaghetti sauce , grated Parmesan cheese.
Note: Inexpensive and filling dinner.
