In a bread machine,
add 1 cup water,
2 tablespoons butter softened,
1 egg,
3 1/4 cups flour,
1/4 cup sugar,
1 teaspoon salt,
3 teaspoons yeast.
Run bread machine on dough setting.
When done, take out and knead 5 times.
Cut into 2-3 inch pieces and shake into balls.
Coat a cast iron skillet with butter and place dough balls in skillet.
Cover with a dish towel and let rise until close to double in size.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
