BLACKBERRY RED WINE GRANITA


2 c. fresh or frozen blackberries

½ c. water

1 c. Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Sweet Red Wine

2 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. lime juice from ½ a lime

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a shallow glass dish. Place the dish in the freezer. When ice crystals begin to form, scrape the mixture with a fork every 20 minutes. Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the dish completely to ensure even freezing. When the granita is completely frozen, serve.
